Saturday October 8, 2005 - Gorge Turf Field Opening Ceremony!!
No Game Today ... Gorge Turf Field Opens!
Well there was no game today against Salt Spring because all Gorge Soccer Association teams were particiapating in the grand opening of their new turf field at Hampton Park!
This field has been in the works for over two years now and with persiverance, dedication , hard work and leadership (thanks Terry!) the field is now open, playable and will be available to all players of the Gorge Soccer Association. This field will do many things for the club, but mostly and simply put, will allow kids to play and enjoy soccer.
Thanks to Mike/Maureen from Gorge Royal U11-Girls Team (that's them in the burgundy colour) for the picture.
